Selling with us

We carefully select mid to high end quality clothing and accessories (bags, jewellery etc.) that suit our branding and are in excellent condition. We also accept some high street brands. See our sell page for a list of brands we look for.

We carefully curate our collections to meet the needs and wants of our customer.

All items must be freshly washed and in selling condition prior to collection, with no signs of wear or tear (no marks/ thread pulls etc.). We will steam items before photographing them. Brand tags and care labels must be attached and not cut off.

Our primary focus is on everyday fashion for women (daytime dresses, blazers, handbags, crewnecks from brands like Anine Bing etc.) but yes we do accept some occasion wear like wedding guest dresses.

We don't accept brands like Shein or Primark with low resale value.

We don't accept earrings or swimwear.

Activewear and shoes will only be accepted if they are in new or near new condition. Shoes ideally in their box.

Earn a generous 50% (VAT exclusive) of the sale price for each item sold, and for those extra special designer pieces, feel free to request a higher percentage before collection.

Your earnings will be paid into your bank account at the end of each month. You can also choose to have some or all of your earnings donated to charity on your sellers contract.

You can choose to have unaccepted and unsold items returned to you, just let us know when filling out your contract.

Otherwise, unaccepted and unsold items will be donated or repurposed at our discretion.

You can sell any number of items with us whether it is one or one hundred. We value quality over quantity.

We currently offer complimentary pick up in and around the Dublin area. We will organise a time for collection once you have filled out the contact form on our sell page.

If you are outside our collection zone you can post your items to us once you have signed up for selling and we have confirmed postage with you.

Shopping

Some items have never been worn (brand new with tags on), and others are gently worn, preloved items that are quality checked by us.

Please read the description details of each item - any small imperfections will be noted there.

Send us a message and we can answer any questions you have about sizing or the fit of an item.

We are more than happy to provide a video of the item, measurement details and try on photos for you.

Yes, we accept online payments. All payment processing and vital customer information is quick, easy, and secure.

All orders aim to be processed within 1 - 3 business days, excluding weekends and holidays. 

Domestic shipping can take up to 5 business days.

This is currently only available by request. If you are interested in purchasing from outside of Ireland, please email us on info@2ndavetrading.com with the item(s) you would like to purchase and the shipping country. We will then let you know the cost for shipping and once confirmed we will open up the checkout to include delivery to your location so you can checkout. 

The cost of shipping will depend on the weight of the items and the size of the parcel used along with the fees charged from our couriers.

Please note prior to purchase that these are preloved items and there are no returns for international delivery.

International customers are responsible for any customs fees, taxes, or import duties incurred.
