Terms and Conditions for Selling with us

• 2nd Ave Fashion Consignment Ltd. reserves the right to accept and decline any items at their sole discretion based on what they believe is best for the company. 
• The listing price is determined by us and can be changed at any time at our discretion.
• Sales / discounts can be applied at any time which in turn affects the final sale price of any item.
• What you will earn depends on the final sale price of each item sold.
• Please see below the % you will receive from each sale (less VAT):
  40% for items that sell for less than €50
  50% for items that sell for between €50 and €250
  60% for items that sell for €250 and upwards
• A deduction will be applied to the seller's share of the final sale price to cover a portion of the VAT payable by the company. The deduction will be relative to the sellers share of the final sale price. In effect, the current VAT rate of 23% will be shared between the seller and the company. 
• Fees are subject to change in future at the discretion of the company.
• If you have chosen on the contract to donate a percentage of your earnings to charity, this will be deducted from your payout.
• Payments will be made directly to the bank account provided on your contract, within the calendar month following the sale of the items subject to any outstanding return requests.
• If an item is returned by the customer, the item will be added back to the seller account and the initial sale payment will be deducted from the seller's account.
• A minimum transfer amount of €20 will apply to our monthly payments to sellers, unless it is your final payment. A bank transfer fee may also apply to transactions.
• It is up to the consignor to notify us by email if there are any changes to the bank account for their payments.
• Items will generally be listed for an 8 week period. We may keep items online for longer or shorter periods at our discretion.
• Unless specified on your contract, unaccepted and unsold items will remain with us to be donated or repurposed at our discretion at any time. 
• If you choose to have items returned, you will be charged a postage fee for each instance. If there is a change of address you must let us know by email so we can update our records.
• Your items will be held at our HQ for 2 weeks once you are notified of the intention to return them. If we do not hear back from you within this time, these items will be donated/repurposed at our discretion.
• Please understand that when you hand your items over to us, the intention is to sell them with us. We spend a lot of time listing and advertising items, liaising with customers and processing orders. A fee will be chargeable for any actively listed items you request back prior to the end of their 8 week sale cycle.
• Items will be sold online, in our HQ, at events and in store should we open a storefront in the future.
• Items for sale with us cannot be simultaneously listed by you on other platforms such as Vinted, Depop, Facebook Marketplace etc.
• We reserve the right to decide which items to include in our advertising materials.
• The seller is responsible for any postage fee when sending items to us. If you are availing of our collection service, a small collection fee, as outlined on our website, will be charged to your seller account.
• Item liability only becomes ours once items are received. Should damage or loss occur in transit with a third party or prior to our collection, we shall not be held responsible.
• If you wish to consign designer items with us, you must provide authenticity documentation (receipt of purchase or certificate of authenticity). 
• In the rare occasion that items requiring additional cleaning are accepted, we will contact you to see if you would like them dry cleaned, to bring the item to a saleable standard. We reserve the right to charge for the cost of dry cleaning and a €15 administration fee for our time. This will be taken off your consignor account.
• We reserve the right to change our fees in the future. Any change in fees will apply to all future sales, regardless of when that item was processed by the company.
• We reserve the right to revise and update these terms at any time without notice to the consignor. It is the consignors obligation to check for any changes and updates to these terms and conditions. They can be found on our website.
• By signing this form using an e-signature you are expressing consent to the terms and conditions outlined by 2nd Ave Fashion Consignment Ltd.
