Terms and Conditions for Selling with 2nd Ave Trading

• We accept mid to high end women's clothing and accessories (bags, jewellery etc.) in excellent condition with no signs of wear or tear. We do accept some high street brands. Please see a list of brands we look for on our website.
• Items must be freshly washed and in excellent selling condition prior to collection.
• 2nd Ave Trading reserves the right to accept and decline any items at their sole discretion based on what they believe is best for their business.
• You, as the consignor, will receive 50% of the final sale price of each item (vat exclusive). This is subject to change in future at the discretion of the business.
• If you would prefer to donate your earnings to charity, please let us know the percentage of your earnings you would like us to donate on your behalf on your selling contract. If you have a specific charity for your donation, please let us know prior to selling.  We will let you know when the donation has been made.
• If you wish to consign designer items with us, you must provide authenticity documentation (receipt of purchase or certificate of authenticity). If you cannot provide the documents, we can provide this service in house for a fee - this will be discussed prior to selling.
• You may request to negotiate a higher percentage for very high value items. This must be done prior to the business receiving this item. 
• Payments will be made directly to the bank account provided, within the calendar month following the sale of the items subject to any outstanding return requests. A minimum transfer amount of €20 will apply unless it is your last payment. It is up to the consignor to notify us if there are any changes to the account details so we can update them. You will be able to view what has sold and what is still outstanding.
• In the rare occasion that items requiring additional cleaning are accepted, we will contact you to see if you would like them dry cleaned, to bring the item to a saleable standard. We reserve the right to charge for the cost of dry cleaning and a €15 administration fee for our time. This will be taken off your consignor account.
• The listing price is determined by us and can be changed at any time. Items can be discounted (includes discount codes used) at any time.
• Items are priced based on extensive market research by us.
• Each item is assessed and priced according to its condition, how current it is and the secondary market value. As a guide, our resale prices are approximately 40% - 60% of the estimated RRP.
• Items will generally be listed for an 8 week period. We may keep items online for longer or shorter periods at our discretion.
• We reserve the right to decide which items to include in our advertising materials.
• Items will be sold online, in our HQ, at events and in store should we open a storefront in the future.
• Items for sale with us cannot be simultaneously listed on other platforms such as Depop, Facebook Marketplace etc.
• Please understand that once you are handing over your items, the intention is then to sell. We spend a lot of time researching prices, styling and shooting, liaising with customers and processing orders. A fee will be chargeable for any actively listed items you request back prior to the end of their sale cycle.
• Unless specified on this form, unaccepted and unsold items will remain with us to be donated or repurposed at our discretion at any time.If you choose to have items returned, you will be charged a shipping fee for each instance.The items will be held at our HQ for 2 weeks once you are notified. If we do not hear back from you within this time, these items will be donated/repurposed at our discretion.
• Item liability only becomes ours once received. Should damage or loss occur in transit with a third party / prior to pick-up by 2nd Ave Trading, we shall not be held responsible.
• It is up to the seller to pay for postage when sending items to us. If you are availing of our pickup service, a small collection fee, as outlined on our website, will be charged to your seller account.
• We reserve the right to change our fees in the future. Any change in fees will apply to all future sales, regardless of when that item was processed by the business.
• We reserve the right to revise and update these terms at any time without notice to the consignor. It is the consignors obligation to check for any changes and updates to these terms and conditions on our website.
