Hi there, I'm Jen, the founder of 2nd Ave Trading, your go-to destination for preloved fashion in Ireland. After managing a similar store in New Zealand, I've brought the concept home with me to start up here.

While my academic background lies in teaching, my passion has been drawn to the world of fashion and sustainable practices. While living in New Zealand, I sold my clothing with a consignment store where Hallie, the owner, sold my clothes on behalf. It was a seamless process that made clearing out my wardrobe so much easier, and to see money going into my bank account was an added bonus!

While in New Zealand, I decided to change career and started working full time with Hallie to grow the business. Managing the store gave me a great insight into all that is involved in running an online business. It was so incredible to watch the business grow and work in an amazing team.

With 2nd Ave Trading, I would like to show that there is always another avenue to fashion, that we can redefine the way we approach our wardrobes. The goal is to make quality fashion more accessible and affordable whilst also facilitating a circular economy.

My own wardrobe reflects my love for preloved pieces, and I'm excited to start this journey at home.
